Delete your HalfPast account

You can delete your account and everything stored for it at any time, right in the app.

In the app

Open HalfPast and go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm who you are (your password, or Google or Apple again), then confirm the deletion.

Want to keep your planner? First save a copy with Settings → Backup & restore → Export backup. Your planner also stays on your phone after the account is gone, until you uninstall the app or clear its data.

What is deleted

Your account (email address, name, profile picture and sign-in details).
Everything synced to the cloud: timetable, tasks, grades, attendance, notes, practice sets, recordings and attachments.
Your AI usage counts and your plan's entitlements.
Your membership in any class groups. Posts you wrote stay for the other members as "Former member", with no link to you.

This happens immediately. Encrypted infrastructure backups at our cloud provider expire within their standard cycle, up to about 30 days.

What is kept

So that deleting and signing up again doesn't restart the free AI trial, we keep only how much of the trial was used, stored under an irreversible, salted hash of your sign-in identities. It can't be turned back into your email or account, and it is erased 3 years after the account is deleted. Active Plus subscriptions are managed by Google Play: cancel yours in the Play Store, since deleting the account doesn't stop it.

Can't open the app?

If you no longer have the app or your phone, email [email protected] from the address of your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account, and we answer within one month.
